Calamine is the formula’s core active — a clinically used zinc carbonate and iron oxide mineral complex prescribed in clinics for skin troubles. In skincare, calamine delivers excellent antibacterial activity against acne-causing bacteria, reduces inflammation and redness, purifies and tightens pores by absorbing excess sebum from the pore walls, and controls active sebum secretion to prevent pore expansion.
