AESTURA Atobarrier 365 Lotion

The AESTURA Atobarrier 365 Lotion is the lighter-textured counterpart to the Atobarrier 365 Cream, sharing the same core ceramide barrier technology but in a fluid, fast-absorbing lotion format. Developed by AESTURA — an Amorepacific dermatological skincare brand with over 40 years of pharmaceutical research on sensitive skin — this lotion is formulated to strengthen the skin barrier, lock in moisture, and soothe sensitive skin from infancy to adulthood. Its lighter texture makes it particularly well-suited for warmer climates, oilier skin types, daily all-over body use, or as a step before heavier creams in a layered routine.

The lotion’s barrier-repair core features the most comprehensive ceramide complex in the Atobarrier 365 range. Ceramide NP — the most abundant ceramide type in healthy human skin — directly replenishes the skin’s natural ceramide pool to restore the corneocyte lipid matrix and reduce transepidermal water loss. Hydroxypropyl Bispalmitamide MEA and Hydroxypropyl Bislauramide MEA are synthetic long-chain ceramide analogues delivered via AESTURA’s patented Dermaon Capsule encapsulation system, which releases them gradually into the barrier for extended moisturisation.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is a standout active in the lotion formula — absent from the cream. Niacinamide strengthens the skin barrier by stimulating ceramide synthesis, reduces transepidermal water loss, calms inflammation and redness in sensitive skin, and regulates sebum production.

Hydrogenated Lecithin is another lotion-exclusive ingredient of note — a phospholipid emulsifier with a structure closely analogous to the skin’s own cell membrane lipids. How to Use: Apply immediately after cleansing, while the skin is still slightly damp, to face and/or body. Gently smooth over skin and pat in for absorption. Can be used as a standalone moisturiser or layered under the Atobarrier 365 Cream for additional barrier support. Suitable for morning and evening use. For infants and young children, test a small amount behind the ear or on the inner arm before first use.
