Its core technology is AESTURA’s proprietary BMF™ (Barrier Moisturizing Factors) complex: a curated blend of 30 skin-identical compounds that directly replicate the composition of the skin’s NMF — the collection of hygroscopic molecules naturally found within the corneocytes (skin cells) of the outermost skin layer that keep the skin hydrated from within.
