Zinc Gluconate is a well-established dermatological active with dual sebum-regulating and antibacterial properties: it directly modulates sebum secretion at the skin surface for a lasting mattifying effect, while its antimicrobial activity helps reduce the proliferation of Cutibacterium acnes (formerly P. acnes), the bacteria most closely associated with inflammatory acne lesions. The cleansing system is built on a trio of mild, skin-compatible surfactants: Zinc Coceth Sulphate (a zinc-based surfactant that cleanses while contributing to the formula’s overall sebum-balancing activity), Lauryl Betaine (a gentle amphoteric surfactant with excellent skin and eye compatibility, commonly used in baby care products), and Decyl Glucoside (a naturally derived, biodegradable sugar-based surfactant known for its exceptional mildness and ability to generate a fine, stable foam without irritating sensitive skin). Together these surfactants lift and encapsulate sebum, makeup, environmental pollutants, and surface impurities for thorough but non-stripping rinsability. How To Use: Apply morning and/or evening to dampened face and/or upper body skin. Massage gently to work into a lather, then rinse thoroughly with clean lukewarm water and pat skin dry.
