Bioré Skin Care Facial Wash Moisture is a 27-ingredient cream-to-foam facial cleanser by Kao — formulated around the brand’s proprietary SPT (Skin Purifying Technology), developed over four decades of facial cleansing research. Kao SPT (Skin Purifying Technology) is the formula’s core cleansing innovation — a specially selected set of surfactant actives that “act on dirt and let it float to the surface of the skin” while minimising cleansing agent penetration into the skin barrier, achieving thorough cleansing with significantly less barrier disruption than conventional surfactant systems. The cream-format product is worked into a fine, soft foam with water or lukewarm water before application, creating a foam veil that spreads easily and cushions the skin from friction during washing. Sorbitol is the formula’s primary humectant — a sugar-derived polyol with strong water-attracting capacity and prebiotic properties that draw and retain moisture in the skin surface during the cleansing step. Glycerin provides additional humectant skin-identical hydration. Together, Sorbitol and Glycerin ensure that moisture is replenished at every wash rather than stripped away. The surfactant system combines Laureth-4 Carboxylic Acid, Laureth-6 Carboxylic Acid, and Lauryl Hydroxysultaine — acyl carboxylic acid and sultaine amphoteric surfactants derived from lauryl (coconut-chain) precursors that are considerably milder and less barrier-disrupting than SLS-class anionic surfactants. Together with Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, and Palmitic Acid (fatty acid soap-type cleansing agents) neutralised with Potassium Hydroxide, they produce a rich creamy foam that thoroughly removes excess sebum, makeup residue, and daily grime. Polyquaternium-7 and Polyquaternium-39 are cationic conditioning polymers that coat the skin surface after rinsing to deliver a smooth, soft, non-stripped post-wash skin feel. Glyceryl Stearate and PEG-100 Stearate provide emollient and emulsifying support to maintain the cream texture and enhance the conditioning afterfeel.

How To Use: Squeeze approximately 2–3 cm of product onto damp palms. Add water gradually and lather well into a rich foam, massaging the foam for about 10 seconds. Apply the foam to face and massage gently. Rinse thoroughly with water or lukewarm water. Use morning and evening. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes — rinse immediately with water if contact occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
