Cerave Acne Control Cleanser

CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser is a gel-to-foam, lightweight-finish daily face wash positioned as a dermatologist-developed acne treatment cleanser for oily, acne-prone, and blemish-prone skin that actively clears breakouts without sacrificing the skin barrier.

Best used both AM & PM as the first step in your routine. In the morning it controls oil and preps skin for SPF; at night it clears pore buildup and daily impurities accumulated throughout the day. Always follow with sunscreen during the day, as this formula can increase sun sensitivity.

The active ingredient is Salicylic Acid (2%), a BHA that penetrates deep into pores to dissolve excess sebum, exfoliate dead skin cells, and prevent new breakouts from forming. Hectorite Clay uses Oil-Absorbing Technology to draw out excess oil and visibly reduce shine. Niacinamide calms redness and soothes post-breakout irritation while supporting the barrier. Three essential Ceramides (NP, AP & EOP) protect and restore the skin’s moisture barrier so the exfoliating actives don’t leave skin stripped or uncomfortable. Gluconolactone, a gentle PHA, provides an additional layer of mild exfoliation suited even to sensitive skin.

How to Use: Wet face with lukewarm water. Massage a dime-sized amount into skin using gentle circular motions, working into a light foam. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use morning and night for best results. Always apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher moisturiser in the morning when using this product, as salicylic acid increases photosensitivity. Discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity develops.
