Houttuynia Cordata (Heartleaf) Extract at 30,000ppm forms the star active of this formula — a traditional Korean medicinal herb with well-documented antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, sebum-regulating, and pore-refining bioactivities that collectively address the root triggers of acne-prone skin. Salicylic Acid is a lipophilic BHA that penetrates the oil-filled pore channel to dissolve the keratin and sebum plugs responsible for blackheads, whiteheads, and congestion, while simultaneously providing keratolytic exfoliation of dead skin cells on the surface and anti-inflammatory prostaglandin-inhibiting activity to reduce active acne lesion severity. Gaultheria Procumbens (Wintergreen) Leaf Extract is a natural source of methyl salicylate, providing complementary anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and mild BHA-adjacent activity that amplifies the formula’s acne-clearing performance. Centella Asiatica Extract contributes its centelloside complex for anti-inflammatory soothing, barrier repair support, and collagen stimulation to help heal post-acne skin. Four coconut-derived surfactants — Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Coco-Betaine, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, and Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate — provide mild, gentle cleansing without compromising the skin barrier. How To Use: Dispense an adequate amount onto palms and work into a lather. Apply to damp face and massage gently in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
