CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser

CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser is a gentle, lightly foaming gel-cream cleanser with a smooth, non-stripping rinse-off finish — dermatologist-developed and positioned as a daily exfoliating face wash that cleanses and refines skin texture without compromising the moisture barrier.

Suitable for both AM & PM use, this cleanser works as the first step in your routine. In the morning, follow with a toner or serum, moisturizer, and SPF. At night, use before treatments and moisturizer. Those with sensitive skin may prefer PM-only use or limit application to a few times per week.

Salicylic acid (BHA) penetrates pores to dissolve excess oil and dead skin buildup, while gluconolactone (PHA) provides a gentler secondary exfoliation at the surface. Three essential ceramides (NP, AP & EOP) reinforce the skin barrier after each cleanse, and hyaluronic acid retains moisture so skin never feels stripped. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) helps calm visible redness and supports an even skin tone with consistent use.

How to Use: Wet face and body with lukewarm water. Dispense a small amount and massage into skin using gentle circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow immediately with your moisturizer to lock in hydration. Because salicylic acid increases sun sensitivity, always apply a broad-spectrum SPF in the morning after cleansing.
